I specialize in Electric Distribution Design and Construction, leveraging my deep expertise in designing, maintaining, and managing electrical distribution systems.
My career is built on delivering high-quality, efficient, and sustainable solutions, with a focus on ensuring that power systems meet the evolving needs of communities and businesses.
I recently retired as the Lead Electric Distribution Designer at Austin Energy, where I oversaw multiple design teams and helped ensure that large-scale projects met high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. My work included power-system calculations, voltage-drop optimization, construction drawings, budget management, and resource planning.
My experience spans hands-on field work, team leadership, and strategic planning for city expansions and major developments. As a passionate mentor and trainer, I also enjoy helping junior designers and electricians develop the technical skills they need for the future.
In addition to my technical background, I am fluent in English and Spanish, allowing me to communicate effectively with diverse teams and clients. I remain committed to continuous improvement in both my professional skills and the quality of the systems I help design and build.
